Need a super easy and quick weeknight meal? Chances are you have most of these ingredients in your fridge already! These types of recipes are always winners for me. Another bonus? My kids loved this too! Hooray! It’s a little sweet, and not spicy. If you want yours spicier, just increase the Sriracha. I wanted to keep mine kid friendly. Or everyone can top their own bowl with their preferred amount of Sriracha!

This recipe comes together super quickly and doesn’t take a ton of ingredients. I have recently been getting my beef from Family Traditions Beef. I love that it is sustainable and ethically raised. I love that all their ground beef comes from one animal too. Nothing sketchy here. They are also an Indiana farm, so fairly local for me! I also love that aspect. Check them out, you can order your own beef (pork and more!) for delivery here!

Here is what you will need:

  • Ground Beef – I used 93/7 here, but use whatever you like. My Family Traditions Beef is 90/10 amd it worked great!
  • Broccoli – I used fresh and steamed mine in the microwave. You can also roast yours with a bit of sesame oil! Or just use frozen florets!
  • Cooked Rice – I used brown rice, but white, jasmine, cauliflower…it all works!
  • Coconut Aminos – these are GF. You can also use soy sauce.
  • Monk Fruit Sweetener – I use Lakanto brand, or just use brown sugar
  • Ginger – I use the paste
  • Garlic
  • Sesame Oil
  • Sriracha
