This is probably my most made sauce/dressing! Especially in the warmer months. It is so refreshing and bright! And there is no oil at all! It takes only a few ingredients too (and ones I usually have on hand!) This sauce is so good on so many things. I will include the recipes here on the site that use the dressing too.

You can use it as a sauce over proteins like chicken or steak, even salmon would be great! Or as a salad dressing. It is really so versatile! I typically remove all the seeds in my jalapenos so the dressing isn’t too spicy, but I leave in some of the ribs so it has a little spice. You can remove both, or keep both in! Just depends on your spice level preference.

I typically make this in my mini food processor, but you could make a bigger batch in a blender too! This would be great to keep on hand in the fridge (I have some in my fridge right now!).

You will need the following:

  • Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt
  • Cilantro
  • Jalapenos
  • Limes (or lime juice)
  • Salt

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup nonfat plain Greek Yogurt

  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped (see notes)

  • 1 handful cilantro

  • Juice of 1/2 a lime

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

  • Place all ingredients in a small food processor or mini blender.
  • Blend on high until combined.

Notes

  • Leave seeds and ribs in for spice, remove seeds and leave ribs in for a small amount of spice. remove both for no spice.
