The holiday season is here! I’m always looking for festive, healthy dishes to balance out all the holiday indulgences. These cinnamon bakes pears with whipped cream and pomegranates are so perfect for the season. I love baked fruit! The natural sugars caramelize in the oven and make this such a sweet, but healthy treat! These are an easy option when you are entertaining because they are seriously SO simple. I had them ready to go in the oven in less than 5 minutes. You could pop them in right before you sit down for dinner! No peeling needed:)
I top mine with Tru Whip, which I love because it has no strange ingredients and is so light and fluffy! Plus, you can make this dish vegan if you like, as they have a vegan option! I love pomegranate arils because they remind me of the holidays and winter season. Plus they are so pretty! Like little holiday gems sparkling on the plate!
I used Bosc pears here, but you can use any pears you like. I love the shape of Bosc pears. Red pears would be so pretty too! Wouldn’t these be the perfect dessert to serve for Christmas?
