This dip tastes exactly like hot cocoa! I think I even surprised myself with this one. It is really good! Also, it is kid approved:) Which is always a win! With winter in full swing here, I thought it would be fun to make a dip based on my favorite warm drink! Fun fact: Hot cocoa is just about the only thing I will drink warm. I don’t drink coffee! I know, I am weird. My kids also happen to love hot cocoa (who doesn’t?!). This was super fun to make.
I decided that marshmallows and graham crackers would be perfect dippers, but wanted to add a bit of fruit too for a little healthiness:) I think the fruit ended up being both my and my kids favorite! Strawberries and bananas are perfect pairs with chocolate.
When you make this, make sure to follow the steps in the directions, you can’t just mix it all together, it won’t turn out. This can be made ahead of time, it keeps really well. I kept mine in the fridge for around 4 days. Wouldn’t this be a fun treat to take to a super bowl party?!
I use Lakanto brand monk fruit sweeteners whenever I am baking or cooking. It is made with monk fruit and tastes great. I like not having to add sugar to my cooking. Here, I used their powdered sugar. You can shop my affiliate link for 15% off Lakanto products here. I love their sunbutter spread, all their sugar substitutes and their maple syrup!
